AP: Wounding in the Birth Chart - Pluto, Saturn and Chiron
Certain planets are especially associated with woundedness: Pluto, Chiron, and Saturn stand out, as do certain symbols such as the 8th and 12th Houses and the Moonās south node. So often the astrological symbolism associated with the bleeding places in our lives comes back to these points, especially as they connect with the rest of the chart. But really any symbol can carry wounds. Who hasnāt been wounded by Venus, the goddess of love? How many people have been hurt by their Lunar families?
The good news is that these symbols also carry the remedies for the wounds they represent. The endless, leaking energy-drain linked to the lesions on our souls can be staunched. Learning to illuminate these upward pathways elevates astrology from diagnosis to healingāand elevates the astrologer from Seer to Healer.
In this same meeting, we will also explore a critical tool in the arsenal of any professional astrologer: rectification. What if an eager potential client only knows that she was born āin the early morning?ā We canāt do a chart without an accurate birth timeābut we can work backwards through astrologyās predictive techniques, find the actual time of birth, and create a reliable birthchart. When did she have her first child? When did she move to Los Angeles? And what chart would have predicted the timing of those events?
We will spend a few hours on rectification. The rest of the class will be focused on the wound and its healing, with specific examples explored in the charts of class members drawn from our āSorting Hat.
Recorded November 2014 at Blue Sky Ranch. 19 hrs. 49 min. mp3 audio download. Includes charts and handouts.
